The exciting world of dance recently came together at the prestigious International DANSEncore Festival in Trois-Rivières, where the dancers from Danse Mode-Action showcased their skills and creativity. With a diverse range of performances covering different styles, our artists made an indelible mark, earning well-deserved recognition and praise. In this article, we delve into the outstanding achievements of our groups, solos, and duos, highlighting their performances and the honors they received.


AVEAM by Maeva Morier: A Platinum-Worthy Solo


Maeva Morier's enchanting solo in the freestyle style captivated the audience and judges, earning her a well-deserved Platinum mention. Among 14 talented participants, Maeva's grace, technique, and artistry propelled her to the 5th position, showcasing her dedication and hard work. Her performance showcases the beauty of self-expression and the power of dance to captivate hearts and minds. Not only did Maeva deliver a stunning performance, but she also played the role of a creator by choreographing her own piece.


NewBreez: Young Talents Shine


Our remarkable group of young dancers, aged 7 to 12, known as NewBreez, proved that age is not a barrier to excellence. With their collective talent in street-jazz dance and their enthusiasm, the troupe earned a Platinum mention, securing an impressive 2nd place out of 8 participants. One judge awarded NewBreez the prestigious "Coup de Cœur," a special recognition coming directly from a competition judge. Great credit goes to the coaching and choreography of Liette Dionne.

Remarkable Contemporary Solo by Emma:


Emma Samson's contemporary solo made an indelible impression on the festival audience. Her ability to seamlessly blend movement with emotion earned her a well-deserved Gold mention. Emma's talent and dedication shone through every step as she told a story through her dance. It's also important to mention that Amélie Larrivée played a crucial role as the choreographer for Emma's solo.


Salomé Dagenais-Requesens: A Platinum Triumph:


In a highly competitive field of 30 participants, Salomé emerged as a true champion, claiming the first-place spot and earning a Platinum mention with her contemporary solo. Her extraordinary talent, precision, and stage presence mesmerized both judges and the audience. A special recognition from a judge with the "Coup de Cœur" further highlighted Salomé's exceptional abilities and her ability to deeply touch the spectators. Clara Oliver created a choreography that perfectly matched the dancer's personality and style, showcasing her strengths. Salomé was also the grand winner of the viensdanser.ca event during the festival.

Jade and Camille's Duo: A Platinum-Worthy Partnership


The duo of Jade Daponte and Camille Penafiel, two best friends, showcased their talent on stage, delivering a performance that earned them a Platinum mention. Their creativity and sincere expression caught the attention of the judges, securing an impressive 3rd place out of nine participants. Their success is proof of the power of collaboration and the art that emerges when two talents merge as one.


YoungSteez: Rising Stars


Our hip-hop troupe of young talents, YoungSteez, demonstrated their passion and dedication, earning them a prestigious Platinum mention. Among twelve talented troupes, they achieved an impressive 2nd place. One of the judges awarded them a "Coup de Cœur," acknowledging their ability to stand out. YoungSteez has truly established themselves as rising stars in the dance world. Special mention goes to Andy Rakotoarion, who was an extraordinary coach and choreographer for the YoungSteez dancers.

MegaCrew DMA: An Inspiring Performance


The talented MegaCrew DMA showcased their collective excellence, earning them a well-deserved Platinum mention. Out of 12 competing groups, they secured the coveted 1st place. Additionally, one of the judges awarded them a special recognition with a "Coup de Cœur." They were also invited to perform in a grand show alongside the 16 finalists. Under the artistic direction led by France Dionne and assisted by Jade Da Ponte, Camille Penafiel, and Vannyda Mom, DMA's MegaCrew achieved tremendous success.

Beauteez: Exquisite Elegance Takes Center Stage


Beauteez, with their refined artistry and graceful movements, captivated the spotlight at the International DANSEncore Festival. Their outstanding performance earned them a Platinum mention, securing an impressive first place out of 17 participants. One of the judges awarded them a well-deserved "Coup de Cœur." Beauteez skillfully shared emotion through their artistic work, led by coach and choreographer Samantha Harvey.

Uniteez: A Remarkable Start


In their first competition, Uniteez showcased their passion, earning them an honorable mention of Bronze. This achievement in their debut competition speaks to their commitment, progress, and potential. Uniteez's dedication to their art was evident in their performance, and this recognition is just the beginning of their promising journey. Great credit goes to Clara Oliver, who connected Uniteez through choreography that allowed them to deliver this beautiful performance.
